The Drillisch AG acts as a holding, Drillisch Telecom GmbH, simply Communication GmbH and IQ-optimize Software AG are responsible for the operating business. The company was established in 1982 and is quoted on the stock exchange since 1998.

ALPHATEL is the brand for our pre-paid business of the group and is part the only provider in Germany to use its own platform (processor status) for the marketing of cash cards and cash codes. g~paid, the system used by ALPHATEL, enables the secure sending of PIN codes over electronic channels. Distribution partners for the pre-paid business are specialised trade shops and grocer, supermarkets, service stations, mail order companies and the public transportation services of Berlin, Dortmund and Duisburg.

VICTORVOX and Telco are our well established brands in the classic post-paid business. With both brands we are marketing mobile services of all of the four network operators but also creates own tariffs and developing them constantly. Approximately 450 active distribution partners are offering a premium sales platform.

simply Communication concentrates as a first mover on the discount business in Germany. These products will be distributed via the Internet or in close cooperations with partners like Penny and Premiere. The unit offers started in April 2005 as a a first mover in this segment with its mobile discount product with “no contract, basic fee, or minimum volume” and is profitable form the very first beginning. simply Communication is well-known as the price setter and develops the product with innovative ideas.

The discount market is the growth segment in Germany’s mobile market, which is in other ways a stagnating market. simply communication is continuously expanding its position in this segment.
IQ-optimize combines the IT-competence and is responsible for the flexibility and the promptitude of the group. IQ-optimize enables the group to respond quickly on the challenges of the market. IQ-optimize markets its own workflow management software.
